Born and raised on the Big Island, Dr. Miyasato has practiced dentistry for more than 20 years in Winston-Salem, NC; San Diego, CA; Honolulu and Kapaau, Hawaii. After obtaining her DDS at The University of Washington in Seattle, she opted to complete a 2 year hospital dental residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine at Winston-Salem.

She is a member of the Hawaii Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Miyasato also completed courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.
